Just a little something I wrote -

I used to feel so lost
Like I’d never be whole
I used to feel so hopeless
Like no one would ever want me
Then there was you
You keep me grounded
My heart keeps pounding
Every day together seems even better
Every night makes me feel alive
You hold me tight and I know
We were meant to be
No matter what’s happened before
We were meant to be
Because no one’s ever made me feel like this
Then there was you
And I knew
